Borsa Istanbul started the day in the red: Which stocks stood out at the opening?

The BIST 100 index started the new day with a decline of 0.47%, reaching 9,567.76 points. Following the negative outlook at the opening, the index continued to decline with the initial trades.

In yesterday's transactions, the BIST 100 index closed at 9,612.84 points, down 0.38%. During the session, the index hit a low of 9,593.66 and a high of 9,830.83 points. At the end of the day, the dollar value of the index was calculated at $252.96. Among the sectoral and national indices, 37 finished the day in the green while 28 remained in negative territory. The biggest gainer was BIST Adana, up 7.22%, while the construction index fell by 1.25%. Out of 100 stocks included in the BIST 100, 47 gained value while 52 experienced a decline. The total trading volume of the stocks in the index reached 113.6 billion TL, accounting for 74.82% of the total trading volume on Borsa Istanbul.
