Foreks - Akfen İnşaat has decided not to participate in the tender for the new building construction of the County Clinical Emergency and Trauma Hospital in Constanța, Romania. In a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the company announced that on February 27, 2025, its Board of Directors decided to participate in the tender scheduled for March 25, 2025, with a bid amount of 394,980,990.31 RON (approximately 3,006,674,294.44 TL). However, an update on March 19, 2025, indicated that the deadline for submitting bids had been moved to March 28, 2025, and that Infravis S.R.L. would replace Visio Construction Works S.R.L. in the bidding group.
The statement further noted that the decision to withdraw from the tender was due to the lack of adequate information in the responses to technical inquiries directed to the tender authority, which did not provide accurate guidance for pricing.
