According to a report by Reuters published on Friday, this move comes as a result of efforts to privatize the company that have been ongoing for a year.

In recent weeks, negotiations between potential buyers and WideOpenWest have made progress. If discussions do not encounter any major obstacles, the deal could be finalized within the next few weeks.
